After the eleventh episode of the first season aired in Japan, the staff immediately released a teaser video to confirm that the series is sure to have a sequel. Even so, the announcement, which was released via the anime's official website and Twitter account, did not include any additional information about when Dr. Stone season 3 will be released.

Just like the two previous seasons, the third season will readapt the story based on the original manga by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrator Boichi, namely Arc Age of Exploration. Of course, fans are looking forward to it because this Arc will be no less exciting.

We don't have any details about the studio, the staff members, and more about the sequel. But it is almost certain that season 3 will still be worked by the same studio, as well as the seiyuu that will be involved again.
